Lecturer in Statistics & Cyber Security – RMIT University

An opportunity now exists to join RMIT’s School of Science and contribute to the teaching and research growth within the Mathematical Sciences Discipline, and specifically within the fields of statistics and cyber security. As the Lecturer, you will be responsible for carrying out teaching activities within undergraduate, and postgraduate programs, including taking responsibility for the coordination of courses offered in statistics and cyber security via RMIT Online. Furthermore, you will be expected to actively promote your teaching and research activities by establishing and maintaining memberships, links and partnerships with academic, industry and professional communities. You will work collaboratively and collegially with fellow academics within the teaching team, and update colleagues and students on developments in their subject area or specialisation. You will be responsible for course coordination.

  • 1 x Full time, ongoing appointment based in the City campus
  • Remuneration at Academic Level B ($102,474 – $121,690).
