The University of Queensland is seeking to appoint a Professorial Research Fellow of Innovative Clinical Trials, to provide methodological leadership and statistical expertise to the newly established University of Queensland cLinical TRials cApability (ULTRA) Program. This is an exceptional opportunity to build, develop and lead a world-class team of methodological experts in innovation in clinical trials. As the most senior role in the ULTRA team, The Professorial Research Fellow of Innovative Clinical Trials will engage in research that sustains their reputation for outstanding research and international leadership in the design and analysis of innovative clinical trials. At this level the incumbent will make outstanding contributions in service and engagement roles and activities.

This position offers a base salary of ~$192,913 per annum, plus superannuation entitlements of 17% and a market loading of 20%. In addition, a research support package of $400,000 per year for the first 3 years will be made available. Should you bring funding with you from an existing grant, additional start-up funds may be available. Whilst this is a fixed-term position for 5 years, an underlying continuing role might be possible for an exceptional candidate.
