Turning Point is an Australian addiction research and education centre that provides treatment for people adversely affected by alcohol, drugs and gambling. Turning Point is seeking to appoint a dedicated and passionate Research Fellow (Statistician) level B or C to contribute to the design and analysis of research studies in the area of addiction and mental health, as well as program evaluation and the development of relevant statistical methodology. Turning Point is seeking someone with a doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline area (including Biostatistics, statistics or health or social sciences, with experience conducting advanced statistical analyses ) or equivalent qualifications and experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in data manipulation and analysis for clinical trials, longitudinal studies (causal inference, methods for handling missing data etc.) and power calculations. Knowledge of population models, time series analyses, data linkage methodologies and meta-analyses is desirable.
