The Centre for Health Services Research at UQ is looking for a senior statistician to contribute to cutting-edge research in the medical, public health, and social services. The types of analysis include but are not limited to:
Data mining approaches including

  • Machine Learning methods and Artificial Intelligence techniques
  • Exploratory statistical analysis
  • Statistical consulting for clinicians and researchers for basic and high-level aspects of their research
  • Clinical trial design and analysis
  • Experimental design and analysis

The position involves identifying and gathering analysis requirements from a wide range of clinical, public health and social science researchers and delivering efficient statistical solutions to meet their research outcomes

  • Fixed term – 2 years
  • HEW 8, $102k – $114k p.a
